Mythic provided architectural design services to the 1716 Development Group, and then used virtual reality to communicate the design intent to the client. The building design featured a series of unique balconies, which were derived from the site’s zoning. VR was used in the pre-design, schematic design, and design development phase. In addition to using VR as an iterative communication tool, a final VR presentation was prepared to assist in fundraising. Mythic prepared a design development drawing set that was used as the basis for construction drawings, which were prepared by Bouler Pfluger Architects.
